VERSION 1.0

1. The program and who sends the messages

Eventboost Inc., c/o 230 Park Avenue, 3rd Floor West, New York, NY 10169, United States (“Eventboost”, “we”, “us”) operates the Eventboost event management platform. Through the platform we send SMS text messages to attendees (“Attendees”) on behalf of the professional client who organises the event you registered for — the “Client” or “Organiser” under the Eventboost Master Terms, referred to here as the “Organizer”.

The Organizer decides which messages are sent and to whom. Eventboost acts as the technical sender and, for your personal data, as a processor acting on the Organizer’s documented instructions under our Data Processing Addendum (Art. 28 GDPR); Eventboost is a controller only for its own account, billing and security data. The Organizer remains responsible for its relationship with Attendees and for compliance with applicable SMS and marketing rules, as set out in the Master Terms.

Messages sent under this program relate to the event you signed up for and may include:

  • registration and payment confirmations;
  • check-in instructions, QR codes and badge links;
  • one-time passcodes and account security codes;
  • agenda, session, speaker and room changes;
  • venue, travel and logistics information;
  • reminders before the event and before sessions you booked;
  • on-site alerts issued by the Organizer, including safety and emergency notices;
  • post-event surveys, certificates and follow-up information, where you have consented to receive them.

We do not use this program to send marketing messages on behalf of unrelated third parties, and we do not sell or rent your mobile number.

2. How you joined, and consent

You receive these messages only because you gave your mobile number and expressly opted in to SMS notifications — when registering for an event, at an on-site kiosk or check-in desk, in an event mobile app, or by asking the Organizer in writing.
Consent is not a condition of any purchase and is not required to register for or attend an event. You may take part in an event without receiving SMS messages.
By opting in you confirm that you are the subscriber of the mobile number you provided, or that you are authorised by the subscriber to enrol that number.
Consent is collected by the Organizer through the Eventboost platform. The Organizer is responsible, under the Eventboost Master Terms, for obtaining and evidencing your consent and for the content of the messages it sends; Eventboost stores the record of your opt-in and of any opt-out on the Organizer’s behalf.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on the events you register for and on the notifications the Organizer has enabled. As a guide, most attendees receive between 2 and 10 messages per event, concentrated in the days immediately before and during the event. Recurring messages are only sent for as long as you remain registered for an active event, and you can stop them at any time (section 5).

4. Cost of messages

Message and data rates may apply.
Eventboost does not charge you for receiving these messages, but your mobile network operator may charge you for receiving SMS or for the data used, including roaming charges if you are abroad. Check your tariff with your operator. Any charges are a matter between you and your operator.

5. How to stop receiving messages (opt-out)

You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from us. We also accept END, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and STOPALL.
After you send the keyword, we will send you one final confirmation message and then no further messages under this program. Because a stop request is processed automatically, we may be unable to recall a message already queued for delivery.

You:               STOP
Eventboost:  You have been unsubscribed and will receive no
further messages. Reply START to opt back in.

To start receiving messages again, reply START, or opt in again through your event registration. You can also unsubscribe by contacting us using the details in section 11, or by changing your notification settings in your Eventboost attendee profile where the Organizer has enabled them.

6. Help and customer care (opt-out)

For help with this program, reply HELP to any message you receive from us, or contact us at info@eventboost.com or +1 (917) 410-6611.

For questions about the content of a specific message, or about the event itself, contact the Organizer named in that message.

7. Delivery and carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Delivery depends on your mobile operator, your network coverage, your device and its settings. We cannot guarantee that any message will be delivered, or delivered at a particular time. Do not rely on SMS alone for time-critical or safety-critical information; the same information is also made available through your event registration confirmation and the Eventboost platform.

8. Eligibility and your mobile number

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to enrol a number in this program. Where an event admits minors, only a parent or legal guardian may enrol a number on their behalf.

You must tell us — or update your registration — if you stop using the mobile number you enrolled. Numbers are frequently reassigned to new subscribers, and we may stop sending messages to a number we have reason to believe is no longer yours.

Not all mobile operators or handsets support every message type, and service is available only in the countries where our messaging provider can deliver traffic.

9. Privacy

We process your mobile number and your messaging preferences as described in our Privacy Policy, available at https://eventboost.com/privacy-policy/. Messages are transmitted through our messaging provider, Infobip, and its downstream carriers, which act solely to deliver the messages.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Consistently with our Privacy Policy, Eventboost does not sell personal data and does not share it with third parties for third-party marketing purposes.

Your mobile number is retained for the periods set out in the Privacy Policy and in the Data Processing Addendum between Eventboost and the Organizer. Where you opt out, we keep the minimum record needed to make sure we do not message you again.

You can exercise your data protection rights, including the right to withdraw consent at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy or by writing to privacy@eventboost.com. Requests concerning event data are handled together with the Organizer, which is the controller of that data.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the program, in our messaging provider’s requirements or in applicable law. The current version is always published at this address, with the effective date shown at the top. Material changes affecting how or how often we message you will be notified to you before they take effect, and continuing to receive messages after that date means you accept the updated terms.

12. Relationship with our other terms

These SMS terms describe the messaging program to you as an Attendee. They supplement, and do not amend, the contractual documentation between Eventboost and the Organizer — the Eventboost Master Terms (v2.0, effective 16 January 2026), the applicable Order, the SLA and the Data Processing Addendum. As between Eventboost and the Organizer, the order of precedence set out in the Master Terms applies, and nothing in this page changes it.

Your use of the Eventboost platform itself is governed by the Eventboost Terms & Conditions and by the Privacy Policy at https://eventboost.com/privacy-policy/. In case of conflict on how your personal data is processed, the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum prevail over this page
